It's Gonna Be a Good Season

Another draft has come and gone. Something tells me it might not be the last for the guys anyway. Husband remarked when he got home (7 hours later) that it was the best draft ever. Frankly, he was glowing. He kept repeating “It’s gonna be a good season,” which has me concerned. Not that there has never been a bad season/pre-game/post-game/commercial worth skipping or even forwarding over for that matter. More than likely it is the last fantasy football extravaganza for the wives
and children. At dinner Friday night we had a reservation for 24 adults, 4 highchairs, 4 slings, and not everyone could make it. Trying to coordinate meals, meeting times, locations for that many incapable people (myself included) was not an easy task.

Here are a few pictures from the restaurant. This was as many as we could round up at one time.

Along with all the other wives Saturday morning, I attended a baby shower for a good friend, Mandy. It felt like the party was for me, I had that good of a time. Originally the guys were going to do a daddy daycare together, but thankfully they all realized what a horrible idea that was. We all resumed back as baby wranglers for the rest of the day while the draft took place. We were quite a scene again at dinner that night. Overall a good weekend was had by all!

Very hard to spot the boys in this picture!

Hysterical! As chaotic as things look, all the women still look amazing and calm! We were SO sad to miss it, but I'm so glad y'all had fun.

It was fun to see pictures of everyone! We haven't seen a lot of those people since we lived in Dallas 6 years ago! Good times!
